Learn about our mistakes to avoid making yours

Are you a travel junkie like us? Well even if you’re not we’ve got you covered. Our ultimate is to travel the world and we want to share everything that we learn along the way with you. Planning a trip requires time and effort - we’ve certainly spent hours and hours online looking for information to design our travels and make the most out of them, so we’d like to compile all that information to make it easier for you. Just because we spent all those hours navigating online doesn’t mean that you have to.

We promise you we’ll try our best to give you all the information that you need and, in case we can’t, we’ll link you to a site that can.

Looking for an ideal spot for a beach day in our favorite of the three Nusas? We spent an entire month in this beautiful little island, learning all its secrets and, of course, visiting all it’s beaches.

Surprisingly, beaches in Nusa Lembongan are quite diverse: Mangroves on the east, rocky and with strong currents on the south, white sand beaches on the west and even a lagoon region between Lembongan and Ceningan.

This guide includes all our favorite beaches in Nusa Lembongan.

Nusa Lembongan | Beaches

We spent three years obsessing about the three beautiful islands of the coast of Bali: Nusa Lembongan, Ceningan and Penida, so when we finally had the chance we made the most out of it. After staying one month in Nusa Lembongan we decided to make a one week stop in the trendiest of the three Nusas - Nusa Penida.

This guide includes all the information you will need for your next visit: what to do, where to stay and where to eat. We covered all of these and more.

Nusa Penida

We approached Kelingking beach with a lot of excitement…and ignorance. The truth is that we’ve been seeing magazine worthy pictures of this incredible place on our Instagram for years and, in fact, this beach has been on our radar even before it became one of the most famous beaches on the world - but we never really thought that most of the people don’t get to see the beach.

Kelingking beach is the most challenging hike we’ve ever done - at least to a beach. So don’t make the same mistake we did, go at the right time, prepared and with plenty of water and you should be ok…oh, and better leave those 12kg of camera gear at the top!

Kelingking Beach

We spent three years obsessing about the three beautiful islands of the coast of Bali: Nusa Lembongan, Ceningan and Penida, so when we finally had the chance we made the most out of it. We moved to Nusa Lembongan for one month in February 2021 and made the most out of our time there to get you all the details you need for your next visit. This guide includes all the information you will need for your next visit: from where to go, to where to get groceries - whether you’re planning to stay there for just a weekend or an entire year.

Nusa Lembongan

You don’t have to visit Nusa Penida to understand the potential it has as a beach destination and why we consider it to have the best beaches in Bali. Beaches in plural because there are a couple that could be consider in a world’s best beaches list. Surely Diamond Beach in Nusa Penida is in the top of our list, but there are several other’s to be consider as world class beaches - Suwehan beach is one of them.

If you made it here it is most likely that you already know a little bit about Suwehan beach. Maybe you saw it on a video on YouTube (hopefully ours) or on a post on social media. Then, like us back then, you’re trying to figure out whether it is worth the trip and, more importantly, how difficult it is to get there. Don’t worry, we’ve got your back.

THE MARA, a legendary game reserve adjoining to the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania, is a must for safari destinations worldwide. It is also home to The Great Wildebeest Migration - one of the most incredible natural events you’ll ever see, if you are lucky enough to be there to witness it. And for the “unlucky ones” like us, the Masai Mara still offers spectacular sightings of wildlife and astonishing landscapes all year round.

The Masai Mara is a must destination both for safari lovers and safari first timers. Home to many of the species that you dream to see in the wild, the national reserve will wow you with sightings of wildlife, beautiful landscapes and unforgettable sunsets.
